4th Annual Fox Cities Women’s Entrepreneurship Grant Program coming soon!
Application period June 1-30 2021
To help support women entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Appleton area, Mid-Day Women’s Alliance (MDWA) in collaboration with CAP Services Inc., is pleased to announce the fourth year of the Fox Cities Women’s Entrepreneurship Grant Program (FCWEGP).
This program, through a competitive application process, will provide one local female business owner with a $2000 grant and over $2500 in business coaching services and networking opportunities each year. New or existing businesses seeking to grow are encouraged to apply, although multi-level marketing firms and nonprofit businesses will not be considered.
Once selected the “grantee” business owner will be paired with a local Business Coaching Team who will offer monthly consulting at no charge. The grantee will also receive the following at no charge: a one-year membership to Mid-Day Women’s Alliance (MDWA), all MDWA monthly lunches for the year, quarterly Women in Leadership Development workshops, and a ticket to the annual FUSION women’s leadership program and networking event. The recipient will also benefit from countless networking opportunities that will help her build relationships that will help support business growth.
The grantee will be required to enroll in CAP Services’ Business Development Program and will be required to develop and/or enhance their business plan. Five finalists will be chosen for an in-person interview; date/time and format to be announced. Finalists should also plan to attend the August MDWA members meeting from 11:30-1:00 on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 when members will choose one “Members’ Choice” award recipient who will receive a one-year MDWA membership.
