Amy Ristow, Associate Director, Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity will be presentedwith the proceeds check from Mid-day’s Black & Pink Ball in December, 2017.  Amy will give the membership details on the Women’s Build project for which Habitat was selected to receive funds from Mid-day’s Black & Pink Ball.The Women’s Build is scheduled to begin in April 2018 and includes the building of a new construction three bed/one bath home.  The entire volunteer crew for this build will be females.

Amy Flanders, Executive Director of the Sexual Assault Crisis Center for the Fox Cities, will join our Mid-day Women’s Alliance April meeting to present the goals and services of the Sexual Assault Crisis Center.  A major emphasis of the Center is on child sexual abuse which is declared by the Centers for Disease Control as one of the most prevalent health problems children face with the most serious array of consequences. Amy will announce the launch of The Darkness of Light Stewards of Children® Program.

This program asks the adult community to take responsibility for protecting children from sexual abuse.
