How often do you fall into the trap of solving other people’s problems for them? This habit can look like fixing, giving advice, people pleasing, and rescuing. Alternatively, you can serve others powerfully and much more effectively by empowering them to solve their own problems.

In this presentation, Allison Garner, author of “Think Possible: The Light and Dark Side of Never Running Out of Ideas” will guide you on a deep dive into one of the seven attributes of being a Limitless Leader developed in her book. She has discovered both personally and with her clients that people who become naturally attractive leaders understand the distinction between pleasing and serving, and they often choose to serve.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:

·       Shift your mindset to approach challenging situations with confidence.

·       Create a system of truth-telling that has others thanking you for sharing difficult information.

·       Build a high performing, emotionally resilient, and agile team.

You will be invited to explore who you can become when you are in charge and any gaps between who you are now and your best potential. As a group, we will challenge the assumptions and beliefs that lead us to behave in unproductive ways.

You can expect to emerge from this workshop with a new mindset and the tools to build capacity in yourself and your people.

Presented by Allison Garner, Executive and Business Leadership Coach; Founder of Align Coaching, LLC and author of “Think Possible:  The Light and Dark Side of Never Running Out of Ideas”.

Allison Garner is a leadership coach, consultant, and founder of Align Coaching, LLC, whose clients are high-achieving professionals. They are visionaries, challengers of the status quo, and never run out of ideas. Her clients use their coaching and consulting work with her to deepen their mastery of leadership, develop leaders within their organizations, build high performing teams, and create cultures that humanize the workplace.

Prior to establishing Align Coaching, Allison was a chemical engineering consultant and vice president of a small engineering firm. After nearly 20 years of consulting work which included both domestic and international clients in the mostly male-dominated oil industry, Allison realized her heart’s ambition to do more meaningful work in the world through coaching. On the personal side, she has been married for 20 years and has two wonderful kids. In addition, she serves on several Boards of Directors, including being elected to the Oshkosh School Board for 7 years and has served as its Treasurer, Vice President, and President.
