Attracting Females of all Ages to Technology Careers
Strategies to Empower Females into Traditional Male Jobs
With over 7,000 computing jobs open in Wisconsin and the UW System graduating about 900 Computer Science Graduates annually, we need to think about how to attract more females of all ages to technology careers.
Our first meeting of 2019 (January 16) will feature Michelle Schuler, Manager of TechSpark Wisconsin and Sara Bernard, President Elect-Board of Directors of WIT (Women in Technology). Michelle and Sara will share facts and figures on this crucial situation facing our local communities and the State of Wisconsin.
They will also address ways that women can act as role models and help empower younger females to be future ready to take on the needs of a technology-driven economy
