CV-19: Paid Sick Days and Leave Presentation by 9to5 Wisconsin

Mid-day Women's Alliance is honored to have 9to5 of Wisconsin present on COVID-19 paid sick leave and paid family/medical leave. Today, 9to5 is one of the largest, most respected national membership organizations of working women in the U.S., dedicated to putting working women’s issues on the public agenda.

This presentation will review:

Paid Sick Days (up to 10 days) and Paid Family & Medical Leave (up to 12 weeks) are available during COVID-19 to help families cope with loss of income while sick, quarantined, or taking care of family, especially children who are not in school/childcare.

Congress legislated these paid leaves as part of the COVID-19 relief bills, in effect until December 31, 2020. Employers will be reimbursed by the federal government via tax credits.
