We will be joining the event hosted by ERA Coalition. We will be hearing from Carol Jenkins (CEO/President of ERA Coalition/FFWE) and Kathy Najmy (Advisory Council Member of ERA Coalition/FFWE). Our Agenda for our the event is the following:

A Time to Celebrate

The ERA Coalition hosted a pre-inauguration celebration on Tuesday night, complete with super star friends and ERA supporters, elected officials, musical performances, and even a toast by Gloria Steinem!

Kathy Najimy kicked us off in her typical hilarious fashion (hors d'oeuvres, anyone?), and I was able to introduce several of our legislative champions to attendees: Sen. Ben Cardin, Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), and Rep. Jackie Speier.

The audience enjoyed recorded musical performances by Damien Sneed and Laura Bell Bundy, and our organizational co-chairs Mona Sinha (Fund for Women’s Equality) and Kimberly Peeler-Allen (ERA Coalition) talked about the importance of our work and its intersectionality.

And to cap off the evening, Alyssa Milano gave a rousing call to action for attendees to stay involved.
