Due to the current high level of COVID cases in our area, we have decided to move this event to zoom, NOT in-person. You can register up to the morning of February 16!

What are YOU balancing every day, every week, day in and day out? Kids, work, school, vaccines, in-person versus virtual, masks or not—so much going on! How has that balancing act been impacted by the pandemic, and what can be done to make things better?

It might help to know you’re not alone:  the Women’s Funds of northeast Wisconsin conducted a survey to measure the impact of COVID on women in our region, and in February we will highlight Julie Keller, Executive Director of the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region to speak about key survey results. We can bet on stress levels increasing, but by how much? And why?

Come to our February Legislative program to learn about:

  • How COVID has impacted women’s juggling act according to the Women’s Fund survey;
  • What women have—and have not—been doing in reaction to the pandemic;
  • What Legislative remedies are being proposed that would help to alleviate these impacts;
  • What each of us can do to make things better for all women in Wisconsin.

Register today to learn from our two expert speakers:

Julie Keller is the Executive Director of the Women's Fund for the Fox Valley Region. She has extensive nonprofit experience and previously had worked in the financial industry as a fixed income analyst. Julie has a passion for issues impacting women and girls, gender equality, and the role philanthropy plays in addressing these challenges for the betterment of our entire community. Julie is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh with a degree in finance and a minor in economics.

Since June of 2004, Sara has been leading the WI Alliance for Women's Health, a coalition to unite, coordinate and amplify the voices of women’s health supporters in Wisconsin.  Prior to assuming this role, Sara was the Northeast Director of Membership and Professional Relations for the Wisconsin Medical Society, and has been widely recognized for her work in public health, especially for women.  Sara received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from UW-Eau Claire.
