It’ll be a Dilly of a time!

It’s time to vote on next year’s officers and budget, and we’ll need a quorum of at least 20 members. We ask all members to come and be ready to exercise their vote as we make decisions for our next fiscal year. The slate of officers and proposed budget will be sent out to members 1 week ahead of time.

April is Financial Literacy month:  Did you know 88% of registered voters in Wisconsin do not feel financially prepared to retire (according to the AARP)? Are you ready?

While we’re enjoying Dilly Bars to celebrate our Annual Meeting, we will host a “fireside chat” to talk about ways to prepare for financial security, whether a household emergency (such as an unexpected furnace replacement) or retirement.

You will leave with more knowledge about:

  • The importance of having money conversations;
  • How easy it is to make a plan and get started (time is your biggest friend or foe);
  • How to prepare for emergencies and retirement;
  • The role of Social Security, 401K plans, and personal savings;
  • The cost of Medicare in retirement.

Come to hear our featured speakers and MDWA members, Tina Grenlie and Lindsay Kaminski share their financial knowledge—bring your questions!
